This is a very talked topic when people are drawing or painting. A lot of people ask me what kind of materials and supplies I use to make my art. I sponsor my own art supplies and it is hard to get quality items. As a student, you use what you can get. So birthdays and holidays are my go-to place. Luckily I found a lot of different shops where I can find great art supplies. Some are a bit more expensive, but sadly, not all come cheap.
For my acrylic paintings, I use a quite cheap acrylic from a known cheap store called "Action". I use a pouring medium to mix with my acrylic paint to create a pouring paint. I have a lot of acrylic supplies so I can paint whenever I want to. On the other hand, my watercolour paint is a much more expensive brand, because they give a more beautiful look than cheap ones. So I don't always have enough supplies to make a watercolour painting.
For my sketches, I use very little supplies, so I choose pencils of the highest quality so they don't break so easily. I use the H2 pencil all the way to B6 pencil to draw and with a very clean eraser, I have all I need to draw. What do you guys use?
I don't use crayons to draw. do any of you use them?
